Kristen Halverson is a children’s author, leadership scholar, and conservation advocate with a sprawling 38 book portfolio. Her work—spanning from four published books with Pitney Publishers to an expansive indie library—inspires youth to protect the planet. Heavily inspired by her journeys from Hawaii to Alaska, where she hikes and documents incredible wildlife and marine ecosystems, Kristen writes to spark wonder, courage, and compassion.

Since 2016, Kristen Halverson has delivered engaging public library programs across the Midwest, Colorado, and Hawaii. Her work has inspired young audiences for over a decade, fostering a love for storytelling and environmental stewardship.
