
As a children's book author, my latest focus on marine life blends storytelling with ocean-themed educational moments. Each story begins with wonder, inviting young readers to explore the beauty and mystery of the ocean along with learning how to care for our global waters.

Kristen Halverson is the author of a 31-book illustrated children’s series celebrating the natural world—from the sea to the savanna—through stories of courage and wonder. Halverson is also a strategic leadership scholar, and certified language instructor. In addition, Kristen serves as a Red Cross water safety ambassador whose work inspires young readers to explore the world’s waters safely along with respecting sea life. Her twenty-five books cater to marine life, ocean safety, horses, cats, and various wildlife conservation stories.

Since 2016, Halverson has delivered public library reading programs in the Midwest and Colorado. Her philanthropic missions have been brought to life for over ten years and captivated young minds and promoted environmental stewardship.
